The monument of the 2nd Infantry Division, Indian Head

and the monument of the 99th Infantry Division, Checkerboard Division or "Battle Babies" are on the same place in the "Twin Villages", Krinkelt and Röchrath. From there both divisions had to withdraw and occupied positions on the Elsenborn Ridge

With "Babe" and "Wild Bill" in the Belgian Barracks, MacAuliffe's HQ and place where the famous "NUTS" was pronounced
